Transmission from Sheshpir Dam location
This project includes transmission or raw water from Sheshpir dam location through construction of pipelines and balancing tank.
Introduction and goal of the project
The goal of this section of Shiraz long term potable water supply project, is to provide part of the required water for target period of 1405 (2026) having capacity 1.25 cubic meters per second and yearly average of 35 million cubic meters for both potable and sanitary purposes.
Location and Sections of the Project
Pipeline 42.6 kilometers long starts at Sheshpir dam location and along the Shiraz-Yasouj road passing through villages Shul, Sangar, Khalar and Golestan, conveys raw water to the balancing tank, and from then on 21 kilometer long transfers water to the treatment plant. The project sections are as indicated bellow.
The conveyance capacity from Sheshpir dam to potable water treatment plant is 1.25 cubic meters per second.
