The site of this dam is in Kilometer ( Km ) 27 of Darab- Hajiabad highway.
This dam is multi function storage , diversion and regulating structure .
The Specifications of this dam are as follows :

Project Goals:
-Flood control and regulation of sub-area Roodbal river and intermediate Darab plain
watershed.
- Improvement and expansion of agriculture lands in an area equal to 2450 hectares
feeding from the right bank of river.
- Reclamation of 1000 hectares of land in this area after canal and basin construction
for artificial recharge feeding from the left bank of river.
-Possibility of conveying and use of annually 9MCM of water from Roodbal dam to
Khossuyeh Reservoir .
To increase job opportunities and reduce farmers migration to the cities.
