The Project of Water providing for "Kazeroon" from "Sasan" Spring
- Purpose:
To construct a new water transition line from "Sasan" spring in order to transmit a maximum flow of 200 lit/sec to "Kazeroon" and provide a part of this city's water demand until the year 2026.
- The subject of the contract:
1. To construct 14.46 km of the steel pipe with a diameter of 20 inches. The thickness of the pipe is 6.35 mm for 6 km of its length and 6.55 mm for the other 8.46 km.
2. To construct a 5.32 km long pipe with a diameter of 18 inches and a thickness of 4.5 mm.
3. Constructing a 16.4 km long service road near the transition line
4. To build a pump station with an area of 422 m2
5. To build a guarding room of 42 m2
6. Fencing and site building of the pump station
7. To construct a balancing concrete reservoir with 500m3 capacity at station 15+550 and at the level 952 m with its fencing and site building
8. To buy, install and put into operation two horizontal centrifugal electro pumps with all electrical equipments needed
9. To buy, install and put into operation a 10 ton crane for the pump station
10. To build a store house in the pump station's site
- Technical Characteristics of the Project's Parts:
1. Pump Station
This pump station is located at the level 810 m at the beginning of the "Sasan-Booshigan" service road.
The suction pipes of this station are connected to the "Sasan-Booshigan" pipe line. Water will be sent to the level 952 m in this station.
2. Pumping Transitions Line:
This part of the transition line which is 14.46 km long transmits water from the pump station to an elevated reservoir at the level 952 m which is the highest point of the route. This part is made from steel of type ST37-2.
3. The Elevated Reservoir:
This reservoir is located at kilometer 15+550 of the route at the level 952 m and has a capacity of 500 m3.This reservoir is made of concrete and its dimensions are 16m× 16m×3m.
4. Gravitational Transition Line:
This part of the pipe line which is made of steel of type ST37-2, transmits water gravitationally, from the elevated reservoir to the "Sepah" reservoir (10,000 m3).
- Technical Characteristics of the Pump Station:
The capacity of the pump station is 100 lit/sec in the first phase and it will increase in the second phase up to 200 lit/sec (until the year 2026).
The technical characteristics of the pump station are as follows:
